When I purchased this house the departing tenant left behind a couple of remotes which were past their best and were in danger of becoming unusable. The insulating "rubber"covering the operating keys was damaged, probably by fingernails, and was allowing easy access to the internal electronics. I had one good remote which I continued using over the last 7 years. Recently there was a change in my circumstances and I need now to rely on my family members for all my transport movements, which has meant that they needed remotes to have access to my car, which is still kept in my garage. Hence the new remotes. It took us a while to determine the compatibility of the subject remotes, but now that we have, they work very satisfactorily. They do not appear to be subject to the relatively short life as were the original ones. Very satisfactory. We are pleased with the end result.
