Pole Kit Stuff Sac
$12.18
$23.02
Fits my carbon fiber Ruta spreader bars and tarp spreader poles. A fraction of the weight of the trekking stuff sack I was using as a makeshift solution and keeps it in a more slender and tidy package. On my scale, this sack weighed 10 grams. My previous sack (Leki trekking pole sack) weighs 28 grams. Two complaints. 1. I super hate the cord locks that Warbonnet uses with all their gear. I replace them every time. The ones I switch to are smaller, more rounded, and don’t look so clunky. Cord locks that come with gear from other companies are tiny by comparison. I shuffled a couple of cord locks around until I got the smallest one for this small stuff sack and the weight dropped down to 7 grams on my scale. Find better cord locks, Warbonnet! 2. $7 for shipping this tiny item that would fit inside a $0.50 envelope is lame. The shipping practically doubled the cost of the product. I looked at dyneema alternatives. There was a tent pole option from one vendor, but the dimensions were about 2 inches too long. They offered custom bags, but that pushed the price to almost $50 before shipping.
