FLAME RETARDANT · REPELS WATER AND MUD · FIA APPROVED Carcross Jacket WMP (Water and Mud Protection) is the first flame retardant jacket for Carcross and Buggy pilots, certified by FIA, which protects from water and mud. Tailored with a fabric repellent to water, mud and oils, which also increase its protection against fire. Carcross Jacket WMP is designed with the needed clearance so that pilots can put it over their overalls, and it has a big elastic panel on its back which adapts to the pilot’s movements. The use of this jacket does not substitute the overall in any case. The technical fabric by which Carcross Jacket WMP is tailored is a permanent flame retardant fabric, with a special coating which repels water, mud and oils. This fabric has been developed by Marina Racewear for high competition, with a 44% of natural fibers, which brings it a high degree of comfort.In addition to being flame retardant, it is also transpirable, antistatic, antibacterial, and its composition guarantees its flame retardant and waterproof features during the garment’s useful life. By being a high performance fabric, it is also able to withstand numerous washing cycles.
